Sunderland defender John O'Shea admits that he and his teammates will have to composed when they play Norwich City later today.

Sunderland defender John O'Shea believes that he and his teammates have to be brave when they face Norwich City later today.

The Black Cats are on a six-game winless run in the Premier League, which has dropped them perilously close to the relegation zone.

O'Shea told reporters: "It's going to be important on Sunday that the players stand up with bravery and composure, and not hide from the challenges we face.

"It's a very big game, don't get me wrong, but the season doesn't finish after Sunday."

Martin O'Neill's side are six points clear of the drop zone with nine games left to play this season.
