Swansea City to complete Jefferson Montero deal this week?

Ecuador international Jefferson Montero will reportedly complete his Swansea City move this week.

Swansea City are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Ecuador winger Jefferson Montero.

The Swans are said to have been tracking the wideman for a number of weeks, and are now ready to step up their plans to finalise a deal, according to The Mirror.

Mexican outfit Monarcas de Morelia were looking for around £4m for the player, and the Welsh side will look to conclude the deal when Montero flies to London to complete the formalities of his move later this week.

It is thought that Montero will sign a three-year deal at the Liberty Stadium.
