Torino striker Ciro Immobile has insisted that he is "ready" to be given a chance for the Italian national side ahead of this summer's World Cup.
The 24-year-old fired a hat-trick in Torino's 3-1 win over Livorno in Serie A on Saturday and is hoping that Italy boss Cesare Prandelli will take note.
"I've got this match ball for all the sacrifices I've made throughout the years," Immobile told reporters after the game.
"I'm dedicating it to my family, who have always been close to me. I would never have thought this would happen after the last year.
"Prandelli knows me, he knows how hard I work. If he decides to call me up I will be ready to give my all, just like I do here."
Immobile has earned one cap for Italy so far in his career.
