Former Everton forward James McFadden has revealed that he is remaining patient in his search for a new club.
The 31-year-old Scot has been a free agent since leaving Motherwell at the end of last season.
Having attracted interest from other clubs in recent weeks, McFadden feels that he is ready to join a new team.
"I am ready to go," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I have had offers but whatever has been there hasn't been right for one reason or another.
"The next move has got to be the right one and I am going to have to make a decision pretty quickly. I just need somewhere to show what I can do."
McFadden has been keeping his fitness up for the past six weeks by training with Partick Thistle.
