Michael Bradley has insisted that the high temperatures in Brazil will not have a negative impact on the USA's performance at the World Cup.
Teams outside of South America have been tipped to struggle in the heat, but Bradley claims that he is pleased it has become a factor for their rivals.
"When you talk about playing in the heat, the travel, it doesn't bother us," the midfielder told reporters. "And not only does it not bother us, it excites us to see that now the other teams are so worried about it."
Jurgen Klinsmann's side will meet Ghana, Portugal and Germany in Group G.
