Valencia manager Juan Antonio Pizzi insists that his side can overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit to advance from their Europa League semi-final with Sevilla.

Valencia manager Juan Antonio Pizzi is confident that his side can overturn a 2-0 first-leg deficit to advance from their Europa League semi-final with Sevilla.

Los Che conceded twice without reply at the Estadio Ramon last week, but Pizzi has said that his side can take advantage of Sevilla's "vulnerable" defence on Thursday.

"You don't just have to look at their last game at Athletic Bilbao to know that Sevilla are vulnerable in defence," he told reporters at a press conference.

"We really should have scored in Sevilla in the first-leg and we deserved to. We can score goals to take the tie to extra-time and penalties if we need to.

"To make a comeback we must have patience, persistence, play with a level of intensity beyond our limits, try to win the man-to-man contests as much as possible and when the opportunities come, take our chances to score."

The winner of the two-legged affair will face either Benfica or Juventus in the final.
