Watford have reportedly restarted talks with Fiorentina over the transfer of Mario Suarez.
The Hornets were thought to have been close to signing the Spanish midfielder earlier this month, but the move never materialised.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the 28-year-old's switch to Vicarage Road is now back on.
The report adds that the two clubs are in discussions over a permanent deal, rather than a loan.
Suarez only arrived in Florence in the summer following a five-year stint with Atletico Madrid.
