Watford reportedly enter the race to sign West Bromwich Albion defender Craig Dawson.

Watford have reportedly entered the race to sign Craig Dawson from West Bromwich Albion.

The 29-year-old is said to be keen to leave the Baggies this summer after they failed to bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking and has changed his agent in a bid to force through a move.

According to The Sun, the Hornets are in the market for a British defender and think that Dawson fits the bill, while Burnley have been monitoring his developments for some time.

Dawson has been at The Hawthorns for nine years, during which time he has made 225 appearances and contributed 16 goals.

The former Rochdale man is about to enter the final 12 months of his current deal with the Midlands side.
