Werder Bremen vs. Freiburg (Sunday, 2.30pm)

Both teams will be aiming to return to winning ways when Werder Bremen host Freiburg in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

Werder Bremen have failed to win any of their last five matches, while Freiburg have fallen out of the top four after collecting only two points from their last three games.

We say: Werder Bremen 1-2 Freiburg

Werder Bremen's matches have generally been open and entertaining all season long, and we do not expect any different in this meeting, especially with Werner's side almost safe from relegation danger.

However, their slight concerns may be prolonged for a little longer if they fall to defeat against Freiburg, who will be highly motivated to return to winning ways in their quest to qualify for the Champions League for the first time in the club's history.

Union Berlin vs. VfL Bochum (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Both teams will be aiming to bounce back from defeat when Union Berlin host VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga on Sunday.

Union Berlin's outside title hopes almost certainly came to an end at the hands of Borussia Dortmund last weekend, while Bochum were dragged back into the relegation battle by Stuttgart.

We say: Union Berlin 2-0 VfL Bochum

Union Berlin will be determined not to allow a couple of defeats to two of the Bundesliga's strongest teams potentially ruin their strong work throughout the season, and we expect a highly motivated performance from the hosts as a result.

Bochum have struggled to attain positive results on the road all season long and we do not expect Sunday's trip to the capital to be any different, with Letsch's side likely to be looking even more nervously over their shoulders given that Hertha Berlin and Schalke 04 face each other on Friday evening and will therefore close the gap one way or another.

Wolfsburg vs. B. Leverkusen (Sunday, 6.30pm)

Bayer Leverkusen will be aiming to extend their winning streak in the Bundesliga to six matches when they visit Wolfsburg on Sunday.

The hosts, meanwhile, had their five-match unbeaten run ended at the hands of Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend.

We say: Wolfsburg 1-1 Bayer Leverkusen

Both teams can be proud of how much they have improved as the season has worn on under their new managers, and we can envisage a hard-fought battle between two well-coached sides.

Neither side will want to lose with European qualification still up for grabs, and it would not be a surprise if the match plays out with a share of the spoils as the result.
