James Morrison will miss West Bromwich Albion's trip to Newcastle United tomorrow with a hamstring injury.

West Bromwich Albion will be without midfielder James Morrison for tomorrow's trip to Newcastle United.

However, the 25-year-old is expected to return in time for the Boxing Day match against Manchester City.

"James has a slight hamstring problem but we're hopeful it will clear up before the weekend," manager Roy Hodgson told reporters.

"Unfortunately, with the game coming so close to the last one, it wasn't enough time.

"But I'm hopeful he'll be fit for Monday."

Earlier today Hodgson recalled three loan players to the Hawthorns.
