West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has insisted that striker Shane Long is not for sale this summer.
Reading are reported to have failed in their bid to sign the Republic of Ireland international striker, but Clarke has dismissed those reports.
"We have had absolutely nothing on Shane," Clarke told West Brom's official website.
"There have been no bids and he's not for sale. He's 100% part of my plans."
Clarke also explained about the progress in talks with West Brom defender Jonas Olsson over a new contract.
"I haven't got anything new to report on that but I think you can see with Jonas' performances on the pitch, he's still very much part of this club," he said.
"That's the best place for Jonas to do his talking right now."
West Brom will begin their Premier League campaign with a home game against Liverpool on Saturday August 8.
