West Bromwich Albion to make new bid for David Marshall?

West Bromwich Albion will make a fresh bid for Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall, according to a report.

West Bromwich Albion will reportedly make a fresh approach to Cardiff City for goalkeeper David Marshall.

The 30-year-old has reportedly been the subject of a bid in the region of £4.5m from the Premier League side this summer.

Cardiff boss Russell Slade has insisted that the fee must be increased if they are to sell the Scotland international, who is contracted to the Bluebirds until 2018.

According to Wales Online, West Brom will make an improved bid for Marshall, who is valued at £5m by Cardiff.

Marshall has made 237 appearances for Cardiff since joining them from Norwich in July 2009.
