Sam Allardyce reveals areas of interest for West Ham United

Sam Allardyce reveals that West Ham United are looking to bring at least five more players to the club this summer.

West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has revealed the areas in his squad that he would like to strengthen ahead of the new Premier League season.

Despite already bringing Mauro Zarate and Cheikhou Kouyate to Upton Park, the Hammers boss claims that the club are eager to sign at least five more players as they look to improve on finishing 13th in the last campaign.

"We've made many bids and there are many negotiations ongoing," Allardyce told West Ham TV.

"We particularly want a left-back, ideally another centre-back, a midfielder and at least two more for the front line."

Reports have suggested that West Ham are interested in Swansea City striker Michu.
