West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison admits that he is hoping to show manager Sam Allardyce what he is capable of playing in the Premier League.

West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison has revealed that he has enjoyed being back at the club for the start of pre-season.

Morrison ended the season on loan at Birmingham City, but the former Manchester United trainee is eager for a chance to prove himself in the Premier League.

The 20-year-old told the club's official website: "Pre-season has been good and I've enjoyed it so far. I've just enjoyed the work and the whole group has done well.

"Hopefully I can get an opportunity. I've just got to carry on working hard in pre-season and show the manager what I can do."

The former England Under-18 international made just one Premier League appearance for the Hammers before his move to St Andrew's.
