Wigan boss Owen Coyle reveals that he wants to sign up to three strikers before the start of the Championship season.

Wigan Athletic manager Owen Coyle has revealed that he wants to sign up to three strikers this summer.

The Scot is looking to guide the Latics back to the Premier League after taking over at the DW Stadium last month.

"It's fair to say we are looking for a minimum of two, possibly three, strikers, and we're working desperately hard to make that happen," Coyle told the Wigan Evening Post.

Wigan start the bid for promotion at Coyle's former club Burnley on August 3.
