Klaus Allofs: 'Wolfsburg improving well'

Klaus Allofs is pleased with Wolfsburg's progress in the Bundesliga.

Wolfsburg director of football Klaus Allofs has revealed that he is pleased with the improvement in the side since the start of the season.

The Wolves have won their past two games, including a fine 3-0 victory over Werder Bremen, to climb to sixth, but Allofs was keen to point out that a defeat could slow any progress.

"[The Bremen win is] fantastic, there are no two ways about it," Allofs told Bundesliga.com. "It's great to see that we're developing step by step.

"However, if we lose two in a row, then we slip right back down into the lower regions."

Wolfsburg won the Bundesliga in 2009.
