QPR defender Jack Robinson to be punished for 'punch' on Wolves' Diogo Jota?

The Football Association si investigating an alleged punch from Queens Park Rangers defender Jack Robinson on Wolves attacker Diogo Jota.

The Football Association has decided to assess video footage which has emerged regarding an incident involving Queens Park Rangers defender Jack Robinson and Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Diogo Jota.

During the second half of Saturday's Championship fixture at Molineux, Jota was left lying on the ground after a coming-together with Robinson, but the referee and his two assistants were focused on play further up the pitch.

However, footage has emerged on social media and according to The Sun, the FA will now investigate the incident due to none of the three officials witnessing what had happened.

If charged by the governing body, Robinson will likely have to serve to a three-match suspension, starting with Saturday's home clash with Bolton Wanderers.

The former Liverpool man has made 27 appearances for QPR in all competitions this season.
