FA chairman Greg Dyke brands FIFA World Cup investigation report a "joke"

FA chairman Greg Dyke brands FIFA's World Cup investigation report a "joke".

England's Football Association chairman Greg Dyke has branded FIFA's World Cup investigation report as a "joke".

The FA was criticised in the 42-page report for 'disregarding bidding rules' and damaging FIFA's image.

FIFA's chief ethics investigator Michael Garcia recently said that the report contains "numerous materially incomplete and erroneous representations".

"I think we are all surprised by Michael Garcia's comments," Dyke told Sky Sports News.

"I think it is a bit of a joke now, the whole process.

"It has made a bit of a mockery of the whole process if the person who did the investigation says the report didn't reflect what he believed. I'm a bit shocked by it all, as I'm sure most people are."

Both the FA chairman and Garcia have been pushing for full investigation to be made public in light of the recent report.
