Wycombe Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth is nominated for November's Manager of the Month award in League Two following four consecutive victories for the Chairboys.

Wycombe Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth has been nominated for November's Manager of the Month award in League Two.

The Chairboys returned to the top of the table last month as four victories in a row sent out a stern warning to their rivals.

Shrewsbury Town manager Mickey Mellon takes his place on the shortlist thanks to three wins from four for the promotion hopefuls.

Southend United's Phil Brown is also among the nominees after the Shrimpers overcame a winless October by putting together a run of four consecutive victories.

Justin Edinburgh of Newport County is the final name on the list of contenders due to a return of eight points from a possible 12 for the Welsh outfit.

The winner is due to be announced on Friday.
