Goals from Stoppila Sunzu, Christopher Katongo and James Chamanga have seen Zambia advance through to semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations at the expense of Sudan this afternoon.
After a tight opening few moments, Zambia broke the deadlock in the 15th minute. Sudan failed to clear a cross and Sunzu was hand to head in from close range.
Zambia's lead was doubled shortly after the restart courtesy of Katongo, who scored from close range after Akram had saved his initial penalty.
With time running out Chamanga made sure of the victory when chipped the ball into the far corner of the net from close range.
Sudan's exit was confirmed in stoppage time when Farah was handed his second caution of the match.
