Kimi Raikkonen has won the Australian Grand Prix at Albert Park in Melbourne this morning.

The Finn claimed the top spot and will be joined on the podium by Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel in second and third respectively.

In the season's curtain-raiser, Raikkonen was pushed hard by Alonso but as the Spaniard's tyres faded in the final 10 laps, it ended as a relative cruise for eventual winner.

Vettel ended up 21 points behind Raikkonen with Felipe Massa finishing the race in fourth.
