Alain Prost believes that Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen will form a strong partnership for Ferrari next season.
Raikkonen will return to the Italian team from Lotus to replace Felipe Massa, who will leave the Formula 1 outfit after seven years.
With two main drivers taking up the seats, there have been suggestions that there could be conflict in the 2014 campaign, but Prost predicts a fruitful partnership.
"Only next year will tell us, because that [choice] can work very well," autosport.com quotes Prost as saying.
"If you have a problem, it is the management that has to make it work. It is going to be more difficult but it can work."
There were reports that Alonso could leave Ferrari for McLaren, but the Spaniard quashed the reports last week.
