Kimi Raikkonen has praised the new Ferrari car, following his first day of testing at Jerez.
Raikkonen failed to reach the podium in last season's F14 T car, but is pleased with the developments that have been made after driving the SF15-T vehicle for the first time.
"The whole team has done a very good job over the winter after last year when we had difficult times. It was a positive first day," Raikkonen told Sky Sports News.
"[The team have made] a lot of improvements in the areas that we had difficulties.
"Obviously it's just the first day and unfortunately the weather was pretty bad, somehow the circuit stayed damp for most of the day. But we had good running and thanks to the team to build us a reasonably good starting point."
Ferrari experienced their worst season in two decades in 2014, but have set the pace in testing. Sebastian Vettel was the fastest driver in the first two days of testing, with Raikkonen second in day three.
