Sebastian Vettel has earned his seventh pole of the season following a dominant performance in qualifying for tomorrow's Indian Grand Prix.

The German, who finished fastest in all three practice sessions at the Buddh International Circuit, recorded a best lap of 1:24.119.

He will become world champion for a fourth consecutive year if he finishes fifth or higher on Sunday.

Nico Rosberg will be second on the grid after registering a time of 1:24.871.

Meanwhile, Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton will start in third, one place ahead of Mark Webber.
