Lotus Renault team principal Eric Boullier has said that second place in the constructors' championship would be an "amazing result" for them.
The Enstone-based outfit are currently fourth in the standings behind Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren, but have out-scored their rivals in the previous two races.
With just 64 point separating them from second-place Ferrari, Boullier said that positive results in the remaining four races of the season could see Lotus achieve their target.
"If we continue as we have done for the last few races, then mathematically second in the standings becomes a very attainable target," Sky Sports News quotes the Frenchman as saying.
"Of course, we all know that anything can happen in this sport, but second place would be an amazing result so we'll push as hard as we can and you never know what might happen."
Red Bull currently lead the way on 445 points, 148 ahead of Ferrari.
