Lewis Hamilton happy with qualifying display

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton insists that his car performed to the highest level after qualifying in second position for the Korean Grand Prix.

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has insisted that he was pleased with his performance after qualifying in second position for the Korean Grand Prix.

Hamilton will start behind Championship leader Sebastian Vettel, and despite never threatening the Red Bull man, the former McLaren driver believes that his team are currently performing well in Asia.

The 28-year-old told reporters: "We did as good a job as we could. I felt that I got the most out of the car.

"Perhaps there's always a little bit of room to improve, but in general, it's been a really good weekend so far, and I really hope that we can fight with Red Bull tomorrow."

Hamilton is currently in third place in the drivers' standings behind Vettel and Fernando Alonso.
