Tiger Woods has pulled out of next week's AT&T National at Congressional after aggravating an elbow injury at the US Open.
The world number one sustained the problem during his victory at the Players' Championship, but said that it will not affect his participation at The British Open next month.
"I was examined after I returned home from the US Open, and the doctors determined I have a left elbow strain," Sky Sports News quotes Woods as saying.
"I have been advised to take a few weeks off, rest and undergo treatment.
"I'll be ready to go for the British Open, and I'm looking forward to playing at Muirfield."
Woods will be looking to win the Claret Jug for a fourth time.
