American Matt Kuchar believes that he is getting nearer to winning the first Major of his career.
The 34-year-old finished tied for third at The Masters 12 months ago and ahead of this year's tournament, Kuchar has revealed that he is confident of breaking his duck come Sunday afternoon.
"It just gives me confidence knowing that I can contend in Major championships, that I can be there late on Sunday," he said. "It was my first real chance to win a Major coming down the stretch late on Sunday.
"It just feels like one of those stepping stones into continuing to contend and winning Majors, just having that experience that I've been there. The more times you're there, the more comfortable you get with it."
Kuchar has been drawn alongisde Bill Haas and Jason Dufner for the opening two rounds of The Masters, which gets underway in Augusta tomorrow.
