Padraig Harrington believes that there is too much quality in the field to select a favourite for the upcoming Masters.
Many bookmakers have rated the event as a straight battle between Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
However, Harrington has insisted that nobody can be branded with the favourite tag in Augusta.
"There's a lot of quality players, it goes a lot deeper at the moment," the Irishman told Sky Sports News. "There's no clear favourite.
"I'm sure many people have their favourites, but I'm sure you could sit down in most golf clubs and people would be pulling for 10 different players and arguing the reasons why they're going to win.
"It's good for golf that it's as open as it is and certainly if I wasn't playing I'd be watching!"
Harrington, 40, is a three-time major champion.
