Dustin Johnson has put himself into contention at The Masters following a 67 in round two at Augusta, which included three eagles.
The 30-year-old, who missed the cut at last year's tournament, made a poor start to his round with a double bogey at the opening hole, but redeemed himself with an eagle at the second.
Johnson then managed to pick up a stroke at the fifth before another eagle at eight saw the American reach the turn in 33.
The 2011 Open runner-up started the back nine with a bogey, but rediscovered his touch with a birdie at 12.
An eagle followed at 15 before a further birdie at 16 put Johnson within six shots of runaway leader Jordan Spieth.
Johnson shanked his tee shot at the final hole and looked to have recovered from the trees before missing a par-putt to end the day on seven-under for the championship.
