Jordan Spieth has retained his healthy lead at the halfway point of The Masters after a record-breaking round at Augusta.
The 21-year-old Texan, who shot a 64 on Thursday, continued his good form with birdies at the second, fifth and eighth holes to reach the turn in 33.
Spieth picked up further strokes at 10, 12 and 15, as he closed in on the record 36-hole total, which was set by Raymond Floyd as he reached 13-under-par at the halfway point in 1976.
The American, who was beaten in a playoff at last weekend's Shell Houston Open, made light work of surpassing that mark – ending his round on 14-under-par after a second-round 66.
Spieth is also on course to eclipse Tiger Woods's record-winning total at Augusta, when the former world number one won The Masters with a score of 18-under in 1997.
