Sweden's Fredrik Jacobsen will take a two-shot lead into the final round of the WGC-HSBC Champions event in Shanghai.
The 37-year-old carded a five-under-par 67 to end the third day on 16-under for the tournament, two ahead of 2010 Open champion Louis Oosthuizen.
Australian Adam Scott holed his third shot on the final hole of the round for an eagle to finish three back from the lead.
Scott is caddied by Steve Williams, who recently made a racist remark against former employer Tiger Woods at a private dinner.
British pair Rory McIlroy, who won the Shanghai Masters last week, and Lee Westwood lie a further shot back on 12-under-par.
