World number one Rory McIlroy is on a four-way share of the clubhouse lead in the first round of the BMW Championship on Thursday.
The Northern Irishman combined an eagle, seven birdies and a lone bogey for an 8-under 64 that put him on top of the leaderboard along with Americans Webb Simpson and Bo Van Pelt and Graham DeLaet of Canada.
Tiger Woods, who was McIlroy's playing partner at the Crooked Stick Golf Club on Thursday, is a shot back.
McIlroy is seeking his fourth PGA Tour victory this year after winning the Deutsche Bank Championship, the Honda Classic and the PGA Championship.
