Rory McIlroy stormed to victory this morning in the Hong Kong Open after shooting a final round 65.
The Northern Irishman's card was free of bogeys and included a chip-in birdie from a greenside bunker on the final hole, which he celebrated wildly.
The 22-year-old wrote on his Twitter account: "Winner winner chicken dinner!!! Long time coming, but so good to finally win the Hong Kong Open! Thanks to everyone for the support!"
Gregory Havret and Peter Hanson finished second and third respectively.
McIlroy now still has a chance of snatching the European Tour's Race to Dubai from world number one Luke Donald.
To do so he must win next week's Dubai World Championship and hope that Donald finishes 10th or lower.
