Greg Norman claimed that Tiger Woods is "really intimidated" by Rory McIlroy ahead of this week's Tour Championship in Atlanta.
McIlroy has risen to prominence in the last couple of years and remains top of the world rankings despite a recent improvement in form by Woods, but Norman believes that the American is no longer able to dominate the game.
"Tiger is really intimidated by Rory," insisted the Australian. "When did you ever see him intimidated? Never. I think he knows his time is up, and that's normal.
"These things tend to go in 15-year cycles. Jack Nicklaus took it from Arnold Palmer, I took it from Jack, Tiger from me and now Rory's taking it from Tiger."
McIlroy and Woods will tee off together at East Lake on Thursday.
