Tiger Woods has spoken confidently following his opening-round 66 at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.
The world number one - a seven-time champion at Firestone - is just two shots off leader Webb Simpson on four-under-par.
"For some reason this golf course, I just see it," the 37-year-old told reporters. "It's just one of those venues.
"It was a little blustery today. Wind was up, greens were soft, but at least the ball was flying. I feel very good about what I'm doing with basically my whole swing.
"I hit a lot of good shots. I had a really good feel for the distance today. Joey [LaCava, caddie] and I really read the wind right today. It was good."
Woods finished tied for sixth at the Open Championship.
