Jimmy Walker scores 63 as he wins Sony Open

Jimmy Walker scores a round of 63 to ease to victory in the Sony Open, ahead of Scott Piercy, Matt Kuchar, Harris English and Gary Woodland.

Jimmy Walker has shot a final round of 63 to win the Sony Open in Hawaii, successfully defending the title he won a year ago.

Walker scored seven birdies in an unblemished round on his way to a final score of 23-under-par, which was just one shot short of Russell Henley's winning total in 2013.

The American won by nine shots ahead of Scott Piercy on 14-under, while Matt Kuchar, Harris English and Gary Woodland finished a shot further back on 13-under-par.

Walker has won four times on the PGA Tour since October 2013.
