Team England men's hockey coach Bobby Crutchley has admitted that he was pleased to see his side be reward with a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games.
The Three Lions edged out New Zealand on penalties to clinch third place at the Games, as England keeper George Pinner denied Blair Hilton and Simon Child to allow Ashley Jackson to secure the medal.
Crutchley told BBC Sport: "It was a very tough game for both teams. I'm happy the guys got rewarded with a bronze medal this time because we have finished fourth too many times."
Australia won the gold medal in the event as they defeated India in the final.
