Great Britain's men's side edge closer to place at 2016 Olympic Games

Great Britain's men's side record a 2-1 victory over Pakistan in the last eight of the World League semi-final in Antwerp.

Great Britain's men's side have moved closer to securing a place at the 2016 Olympic Games with victory over Pakistan on Wednesday afternoon.

Team GB are currently competing in the World League semi-finals in Antwerp, with the top three earning a place in Rio de Janeiro.

After impressing during the group stages, they were left with a last-eight contest with Pakistan, and they immediately set about gaining a stranglehold of the match through early goals from Chris Griffiths and Alastair Brogdon.

Pakistan managed to pull a goal back 12 minutes from time, but Team GB held their nerve to move through to a semi-final clash with Australia, with the winners booking their spot in Brazil.
