Great Britain's men's side thrash China in World League semi-finals

Great Britain's men's team maintain their unbeaten start to the World League semi-finals with an 8-1 victory against China.

Great Britain's men's team have boosted their chances of qualifying for next year's Olympic Games with an emphatic 8-1 win over China in the World League semi-finals.

Team GB recorded back-to-back 2-2 draws with Belgium and Ireland to leave them requiring victory to strengthen their position in Pool B, but they had little problem in seeing off their opponents in Antwerp.

Sam Ward, Nick Catlin and Mark Gleghorne all registered doubles, while Alastair Brogdon and Ashley Jackson completed the scoring.

The success has moved Great Britain up to second spot behind Malaysia, who they will face in their next fixture, with the top three sides in the 10-team tournament progressing to Rio de Janeiro in 2016.
