Dani Pedrosa hopes to put on a "good show" in MotoGP race in Aragon

MotoGP rider Dani Pedrosa says that he hopes to impress in Aragon following a disappointing ninth finish in Misano.

Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa has claimed that he hopes to be in contention for victory in Aragon this weekend following a disappointing race in Misano.

The 29-year-old, who finished ninth last weekend, is currently seventh in the MotoGP rider standings with 109 points.

"It was a disappointing race in Misano and I've already put it behind me," motoscene.co.uk quotes Pedrosa as saying. "The last two years have been tricky for me in Aragon so I look forward to an incident free race this year.

"I enjoy going to Aragon and having the opportunity to race in front of our home fans - of course this gives you more motivation and we will all try put on a good show for them. Let's see how the weather is and I hope to be in the battle for the victory."

Yamaha's Valentino Rossi currently tops the standings.
