England have scored a dramatic last-gasp winner to stun favourites Australia in the final of the netball at the Commonwealth Games.
England had not even been expected to reach the final on the Gold Coast, but did so with another incredible finish in their semi-final with Jamaica as they came from behind to win by one point in the last second.
It was a similar story in the gold-medal match too, with England once again sealing a one-point victory in the most dramatic of circumstances to clinch arguably their most memorable medal of the Games.
Australia had won every game of the tournament by at least 21 points prior to the final and went into the match as hot favourites to top the podium, but England matched them from the off and went into half time level at 25-25.
Tracey Neville's side fell two points behind in the third quarter, but took the fourth 16-13 - including their last-ditch winner - to win gold in astonishing fashion.
Australia were therefore forced to settle for silver in front of their home crowd, while Jamaica claimed bronze with victory over New Zealand earlier in the day.
