Barcelona star Lionel Messi sent a memento to former Bayern Munich striker Gerd Muller after breaking the German's goal record earlier this season.
The Argentina international set a new record of most goals scored in a calendar year after breaking Muller's record of 85, which he held for 40 years.
The 25-year-old sent the retired player his famous number 10 shirt with the words "For Gerd Muller, with my respect and admiration. A hug. Leo," written on the back.
Messi, who has scored 27 goals so far this season, won the coveted Ballon d'Or for the fourth time earlier this week.
