Barcelona star Lionel Messi briefly switched professions in a promotional video for sponsors Herbalife.

The Argentina international, who was crowned the Ballon d'Or winner for the fourth consecutive year, took to an empty baseball stadium in his Barcelona strip to try at his hand at the sport.

Despite looking rather uncomfortable at the crease, the 25-year-old continued to hit boundaries before trying his luck with the ball.
