Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola presented former boss Jupp Heynckes with a prize at a star-studded awards ceremony yesterday, after an introduction from Robbie Williams.
Heynckes was recognised for his Treble-winning efforts at the Allianz Arena at last night's Bambi Awards, an annual German celebration of the best in sports, culture and entertainment.
After an introduction from Williams the current Bayern manager came out with a Bambi award for his predecessor, given in appreciation of the 68-year-old's all-conquering campaign in Bavaria.
The best season in Bayern's history saw the German giants claim Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League success in May, but Heynckes was replaced regardless by Guardiola.
Williams was among a cast of instantly-recognisable faces at the Bambi Awards, with Miley Cyrus also in attendance to collect her prize for Best International Pop.
