Celtic midfielder Efe Ambrose forgets his passport just hours before the Scottish side were due to leave Glasgow airport for Spain to face Barcelona in the Champions League.

Celtic defender Efe Ambrose forgot his passport just hours before jetting off to Barcelona to prepare for the Scottish side's Champions League encounter.

The Scottish Premier League champions are due to take on the Catalan giants tomorrow evening but the Nigeria international almost missed his flight after realising that he had left his passport behind.

Despite his mistake, Ambrose was eventually reunited with his passport 30 minutes before Neil Lennon's men boarded at Glasgow airport.

Celtic currently sit second in Group G behind Barcelona.
