Gary Hooper gave the Hoops the lead after 15 minutes, tapping home unmarked after neat approach play from Tony Watt and Lassad Nouioui.

Efe Ambrose doubled their advantage just three minutes later after reacting quickest to a set-piece delivery from Charlie Mulgrew to score his first Celtic goal.

Neil Lennon's side ended the match as a contest before the break thanks to a brace from Victor Wanyama.

A composed finish from close range followed by a curling strike from distance saw Wanyawa net two goals in just six minutes.
