Crystal Palace have confirmed that left-back Pape Souare is in hospital after suffering injuries in a car accident on Sunday.
The 26-year-old damaged his thigh and jaw bone during a crash, which is believed to have occurred close to Heathrow Airport on the M4.
Souare was airlifted to hospital after the emergency services cut through the roof of his £100,000 Mercedes following a collision with another car, according to the London Evening Standard.
