Europe Ryder Cup winner Justin Rose switched his focus to raising money for charity just hours after helping his team secure their 10th title over the USA.
The 34-year-old was joined by former footballers Jamie Redknapp, Ian Wright and Gary Lineker, as well as celebrity Jodie Kidd.
Their challenge was to hit a golf ball while standing on the wing of a 747 British Airways aircraft in London on Monday, with donations going towards the Kate and Justin Rose Foundation.
"The team played outstanding this weekend and it's a fantastic feeling to come out of the Ryder Cup as the winning team again," said Rose. "To carry that adrenaline with me on to the wing of the British Airways 747 before flying the aircraft back across the Atlantic was a special thrill.
"I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and I am grateful to British Airways for donating flights towards the Kate and Justin Rose Foundation – it will make a huge difference to our campaign."
Due to the high winds, only Rose and Redknapp could get close to the target.
