Saturday
WIMBLEDON – LADIES' SINGLES FINAL
Serena Williams v Simona Halep – BBC Two 1100, BBC One 1300 & Eurosport 2 1345
At the start of a bumper sporting weekend, all eyes will be on Centre Court when Serena Williams meets Simona Halep looking to add an eighth Wimbledon championship.
Another triumph at SW19 would move the American level with Margaret Court's record of 24 grand-slam titles.
Romanian Halep, though, will be no pushover as the former world number one, French Open champion in 2018, aims to lift the Venus Rosewater Dish for the first time.
FORMULA ONE – BRITISH GRAND PRIX
Practice – Channel 4 1055, Sky Sports Main Event & Sky Sports F1 1045; Qualifying – Channel 4 1255, Sky Sports Main Event & Sky Sports F1 1300
British driver Lewis Hamilton will have sights on a record sixth victory around his home circuit at Silverstone, which will continue to stage the sport's oldest race through until at least 2024.
Sebastian Vettel, though, stood top of the podium for Ferrari in 2018 to deny Hamilton what would have been a fifth successive triumph.
The German will be hoping his car proves up to the test again this year as he aims to once more silence the vocal British crowd.
NETBALL WORLD CUP

While the Cricket World Cup might be about to end, Liverpool is hosting the Netball World Cup through until July 21 – the competition taking place in England for only the third time in 56 years.
Aiming to continue the feelgood factor from football's Lionesses at the FIFA Women's World Cup in France, the Vitality Roses will face rivals the Scottish Thistles in Group D on Saturday afternoon.
A deep run into the showpiece tournament would help raise the profile of the sport once again after England won gold at last year's Commonwealth Games in Australia.

With the showpeice event also being broadcast on free-to-air television, England will carry the weight of an expectant nation as they aim to deliver a first World Cup triumph, having last made the final some 27 years ago.
The Black Caps, though, are firmly intent on spoiling the party at the home of cricket after producing a composed display to defeat India in their semi-final.
Kane Williamson's side will be determined to make amends for defeat by the hosts in Durham during the group stage as they target going one better than 2015, when they were World Cup runners-up in Melbourne.
WIMBLEDON – MEN'S SINGLES FINAL
Novak Djokovic/Roberto Bautista Agut v Rafael Nadal/Roger Federer – BBC Two 1100, BBC One 1245, Eurosport 2 1345 & eir Sport 1 1345
Whether it will be defending champion Novak Djokovic or Spanish outsider Roberto Bautista Agut who takes to the court for Sunday's men's singles final at The All England Club remains to be seen.
What we do know, though, is that they will face the toughest of challenges against the winner of Friday afternoon's showdown between Roger Federer, chasing a ninth Wimbledon title, and Rafael Nadal.
While that contest could well take plenty out of either player, the tournament's second and third seeds respectively, expect Sunday's occasion to provide the required lift for what could well be another memorable match-up between the game's leading men.
FORMULA ONE – BRITISH GRAND PRIX
Race day from Silverstone – Sky Sports F1 & Channel 4 1230, Sky Sports Main Event 1405
Despite the disappointment of finishing second in last year's British Grand Prix, Hamilton remains the man to beat.
The Mercedes star holds a 31-point lead over team-mate Valtteri Bottas at the top of the 2019 drivers' standings – with a sixth world championship likely to follow at the end of the season.
A record crowd in excess of 140,000 are expected through the Silverstone turnstiles on Sunday, when Hamilton will aim to eclipse the five race victories he currently holds alongside Britain's double world champion Jim Clark and Frenchman Alain Prost.
